Don't Look Down [Artisan]

Do you know what your children are watching?

By TERESSA ELLIOTT

Don't be fooled by the "Wes Craven Presents" in front of the title of this DVD. The "Scream" director's touch is nowhere evident in this lukewarm thriller.

A woman loses her sister above a ravine and becomes phobic about heights. She begins working with a therapist to overcome her fears and meets others with the same fear. There is the obligatory twist at the end, but that doesn't save the film since you've already been bored silly before the last few frames. And when you're not bored, you're shaking your head at the therapist's techniques: bungee jumping? Walking atop a skyscraper? Aren't these activities more dangerous than having a fear of heights?

The DVD does not include extras and is even presented in full screen -- almost as if the studio knew not to waste anything more on this dud.
