A classic psychological thriller, "Don't Look Now" holds up well 30 years later.
The Baxters (a radiant Julie Christie and appropriately scruffy Donald Sutherland) escape the grief they faced in
England by working in Venice, Italy. While there, they meet a supposedly psychic blind woman and her sister. The
Baxters' previous loss and a potential future loss coincide as Venice provides an eerie backdrop to the mystery
surrounding the couple and the sisters.
The DVD gives us nothing except a good film, however; the only extra is a theatrical trailer. |
