A good B-movie. That is, if you don't go in expecting much more than action, good special effects
and dialogue along the lines of "we shall overcome," you'll have a good time.
In the future, humans battle fire-breathing dragons for our earth. The Brits (led by Christian Bale) are losing till the
Americans (led by a wild-eyed Matthew McConaughey) come in to save their behinds (ah, patriotism!). Add some gnarly
looking dragons swooping down, a bombed-out set and scenery chewing actors, and "Reign of Fire" is a pretty good DVD.
The extras are ok -- an interview with the director, a documentary on the special effects, a brief (only about 9
minutes) making-of documentary (which is basically an extended trailer)and the trailer itself.
